This is a question that I enjoy answering. ScrapCATapp.com is a new business model that brings technology to a transaction that has not changed very much since catalytic converters were first installed on cars in 1975.

Our process simplifies the transaction and protects both the Seller AND the Buyer. A quick summary of the steps a Seller needs to do to sell their Units on our system:

Seller signs up to become a Seller on ScrapCATapp.com and receives a preloaded Samsung tablet with our software, a Converter Photo Stand, and training.

Seller inventories their Scrap Catalytic Converters (Units) into the ScrapCATapp system.
3.
Seller posts their inventory (LOT) for sale on our Online Auction Marketplace.
4.
ScrapCATapp notifies its nationwide Buyer network that there is a LOT for sale.
5.
Buyers review the LOT online (NOT at your facility) and make bids.
6.
Seller chooses the Bid that is best for their company.
7.
ScrapCATapp Transaction Assistance guarantees Sellers get paid and the transaction goes smoothly!

I can understand your hesitation, these transactions have historically always caused pain and anguish for Sellers. But I assure you, there really are no catches, it is a painless, transparent, protected transaction that is good for both the Seller and the Buyer.

Our goal was to figure out a way for Sellers to not have to become experts in PGM (Platinum Group Metal) refining to be successful in selling their converters for the highest possible price every time they sold.
